ODE TO CHARU

This poem is written by G.Rangachari, father of Charulatha.
One can feel the pain, distress and agony he had gone through and the setback due to the loss of his the most loved one, his daughter Charulatha. his old soul is craving for the contentment and warmth of Charu's presence. He is missing the sweet and love filled word "Appa" that charu used to address him.
Vasantha ( Charu's mother) as well as Rangachari feel incomplete and handicapped. Their moroseness increases when they eagerly wait near the phone at 11:15, it was the time when Charu used to talk to both of them.
No one can reduce their pain and agony, the only thing we can do, is to share it. That's why I have published this poem. Hope you also feel the pain and agony in it.

ODE TO CHARU
Oh Charu
Thou art my heart
That beat for you
Thou art my mind
That thinks for you
Thou art my lungs
That breath for you
Thou art my eyes
That see for you
Thou art my all
Oh Charu Oh Charu!
___________
9th Jan 2010 you are my horror
9th Jan 2010 you are my agony
9th Jan 2010 you are my sorrow
Oh! 9th Jan 2010, why did you come
Before my death?
